Dr. Donna Montgomery


Dr. Donna Montgomery has over 25 years experience serving leaders in Fortune 500 companies to achieve personal and corporate transformation. She has a proven track record of successful partnering with executives across many different industries in various stages of growth including high technology in the Silicon Valley, pharmaceutical companies on both coasts, utility and heavy construction firms, as well as financial services, professional services, and health care.

Donna quickly establishes credibility and trust with organization leaders who benefit from her broad experience in leadership development and the corollary organizational issues that must be addressed to achieve positive and sustained results. She deeply understands the nature of personal, team & large-scale change, and clients benefit from her focus on becoming a trusted advisor in support of their vision.

Donna has been deeply involved in the assessment and coaching of leaders for the past 15 years in particular, and for the past six has managed her own practice. She began working in organizations early in the 1980's, and moved through career development, succession planning, and various organizational development positions as an internal consultant for companies such as Pacific Gas and Electric, Charles Schwab, Kaiser Permanente, and Ernst & Young. She has extensive experience creating and implementing results-driven development programs including 360 assessment, leadership development, succession planning and mentoring.

Dr. Montgomery holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from CSPP-Alameda, a Masters Degree in the same area from CSPP, and a Masters Degree from San Diego State University in Psychiatric Social Work. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she has lived most of her life, and currently resides on the Monterey Peninsula. She is a Senior Partner in Dawson Consulting Group, and maintains her own practice.
